1. About Umlimisi

Umlimisi is an AI-powered farm management platform built by Ekukhuleni Labs (Pty) Ltd, registered in Eswatini. The platform provides crop and livestock management tools, AI-powered diagnostics, weather intelligence, market information and production record-keeping for smallholder farmers.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential.
• One account per phone number. You may not share your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. What We Provide

• Farm management tools: crop cycles, schedules, activities, sales and expense tracking.
• AI-powered crop and livestock disease diagnosis (decision support, not a replacement for professional advice).
• SMS reminders and notifications (subject to available credits).
• Market price information sourced from NAMBoard/EHIS.
• Input price comparison from verified suppliers.
• A marketplace connecting you to independent organisations — financial institutions, cooperatives, buyers, insurers, input suppliers, and government or development programmes.

Marketplace partners are independent organisations, not Umlimisi. They retain sole responsibility for their own licensing, underwriting, pricing, terms, and claims decisions. Umlimisi provides evidence and workflow only — we do not decide whether you're approved for finance, what you're charged, or whether an insurance claim is paid, and a marketplace match or quotation is not a guaranteed outcome.

5. Decision Support, Not Guarantees

Umlimisi provides agricultural decision support. It does not guarantee crop success, profit, market access or the accuracy of AI diagnoses. Always verify recommendations with qualified extension officers or agricultural professionals, especially for pest/disease treatment, chemical application and veterinary decisions.

6. Your Data

See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, store and protect your data. Key points:

• Your farm data belongs to you.
• We do not sell your personal or farm-level information to third parties.
• You control who sees your production data (e.g. share-link reports require your action to generate).
• We use your data to provide and improve the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal activity.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Submit false information to obtain services, finance or insurance.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or reproduce the platform for commercial purposes.

8. Mobile Money (MoMo)

Where MoMo payment is available (e.g. input purchases, SMS credits), transactions are processed through licensed payment providers. Umlimisi does not hold or intermediate funds unless explicitly stated. Refund and dispute policies are disclosed before each transaction.

9. SMS and Notifications

By signing up, you consent to receive service-related SMS messages (schedule reminders, alerts, OTPs). Marketing messages require separate consent. SMS costs are borne by your farm's SMS credit balance, not your personal airtime.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Umlimisi available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, maintain or modify the platform without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

Umlimisi is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ekukhuleni Labs is not liable for crop loss, financial loss, missed diagnoses or any other damages arising from use of the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
